MALONE TO CONTEND FOR HTF SERIES ROOKIE OF THE YEAR IN 2026
Beckham Malone of Rock Hill, S.C., is set to take the next big step in his racing career with plans to follow the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series full time in 2026, chasing both the $50,000 series championship and the $5,000 Base Racing Fuel & Oil Rookie of the Year Award.
The 14-year-old Malone will begin his championship chase with the South Georgia Showdown, which launches the HTF season with two $10,000-to-win events at Needmore Speedway on Jan. 30–31, followed by a pair of $10,000-to-win features at Swainsboro Raceway on Feb. 2–3.
Malone made four appearances with the HTF Series during the 2025 season, qualifying for the feature lineup three times. At just 13 years old at the time, he became the youngest driver ever to enter an HTF Series race when he debuted during Duck River Raceway Park’s Deep Fried 75 weekend opener in August. The following night, he raised the bar again by becoming the youngest competitor to ever qualify for an HTF Series feature, finishing a respectable 14th in the $15,000-to-win finale, his best HTF Series result to date.
Malone has also shown impressive versatility at a young age, finding success in everything from Legend Cars and Micro Sprints to Crate Late Models. That diverse background has helped fuel his rapid development and given him maturity beyond his years. Now, with a full touring season ahead, the focus shifts from flashes of speed to consistency as he takes on the toughest Super Late Model regional tours in the country.
