09-29-24 : 3RD WIN IN THREE WEEKS BUT THIS TIME WITH A WING!
A last minute decision was made to make the trip to Rockfish Speedway this past weekend to run the micro after original plans to travel south to Golden Isles with the late model were cancelled due to Hurricane Helene.
Confidence was noticeable high heading into Rockfish after picking up wins in the last two weekends out with the late model. Beckham would go on to qualify on the pole, win his heat, and led the feature flag to flag to pick up his 6th win of 2024 and first on the year in the micro.
Huge shoutout to Carber and Corey for all their hard work and thanks to all our partners for their continued support!

09-22-24 : TWO WEEKS IN A ROW!?!?
Coming off the strong showing last weekend at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park, Beckham and the team rolled into Fayetteville with tons of confidence and it showed from the moment they unloaded.
Beckham timed in second fastest in hotlaps, qualified on the pole, and led the feature green to checkered collecting his fifth win of 2024.
09-15-24 : DOUBLED DOWN FOR CAREER NIGHT AT ULTIMATE
This past weekend, Beckham and the crew again attempted to run both cars at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park, but this time they had a chip on their shoulder after the "coulda, woulda, shoulda's" of last trip to Elkin. It was clear early on that the crew brought a pair of very fast hot rods as they clocked in second quick in both divisions.
In the 604 division, Beckham went to battle with late model standouts Kendal Tucker & Travis Steele but would come up just short of the win, bringing home a respectable runner-up finish.
08-25-24 : DOUBLE DUTY @ ULTIMATE MOTORSPORTS & RV PARK
August 24th at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park will go down as another night that could have been, but also one that the team can look back on and be proud of their efforts and their ability to maximize the night with the cards they were dealt.
After qualifying fourth in a really stacked 29 car field in the 602, the team was excited about their chances in the feature. Unfortunately, a mud clot (the size of Beckham himself) had other plans as it made its way to the top of Beckham's helmet just above the visor, essentially locking it into place and not allowing him to crack it to get the proper ventilation needed.
07-20-24 : FROM ROADSIDE TO PODIUM
After how the day started, a second is about as good as a win in our books! As some of you know, we were sidelined for a good while yesterday after breaking a leaf spring on the trailer on our way to Screven Motor Sports Complex. This was a less than ideal situation but we were able to make the most of it and get to the track just in time to tag the tail of the feature. After starting shotgun on the field, Beckham was able to charge his way all the way up to second before the checkered flag dropped.
It was a great ending to a very long day, but hopefully we can have a much less eventful day today as we try to get us a win here at Screven before moving on to Swainsboro tomorrow!
06-17-24 : ANOTHER WIN IN ELKIN!
There is just something about coming to Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park that makes Beckham feel at home. Not sure if it is the size, the shape, or the dirt, but something about this track brings out his best and he always seems to bring a little extra to the table when the team unloads in Elkin, NC. This past weekend, Beckham was able to pick up his third feature win of the season with two of those coming at Ultimate Motorsports & RV. In five starts at the track, the Rock Hill native has collected four top tens, three top fives, and two wins. Safe to say he enjoys racing at the 3/8 mile oval in the hills of Elkin, NC.

05-15-24 : HEARTBREAK AT THE BRIDGE
The past several weeks Beckham and his Carber Racing team have been showing a lot of raw speed in the highly competitive 600 Winged Micro division. The team thought tonight would be the night when Beckham was able to start from the pole in his heat race and would go on to run a great race before an unfortunate mechanical failure forced him to retire early. This would force the team to start deep in the field on a very tacky surface from all the rain the Carolinas' have received this week. The team will go home and regroup and be back out at Millbridge in a few short weeks. In the meantime, we will be back in our Longhorn by WP next Friday and Saturday (May 24th-25th) at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park in Elkin, North Carolina running in conjunction with the World of Outlaw's.
04-21-24 : STORYBOOK NIGHT AT ULTIMATE!
This past weekend was one for the books for sure! Not only were we able to click off our first 604 win after leading flag to flag, but Ross was also able to pull off the super win in thrilling fashion.
Thank you to everyone who makes this happen!

03-11-24 : GOOD START TO THE YEAR ON ASPHALT SIDE
Pretty good start to the year on the asphalt side of things. Struggled a bit in qualifying but rebounded for a fourth place finish at the conclusion of the night's 100 lapper.
Weather permitting, the team plans to shift their focus to the dirt late model and make the trip to Talladega Short Track for this weekend's "Bama Bash" where Beckham will run the 602 on Friday and the 604 on Saturday.
02-29-24 : QUIET YET SOLID START TO NORT CAROLINA SPEEDWEEK
After mother nature won the originally scheduled opening night, Beckham and the team had to wait until Thursday to get things started for their first ever North Carolina Speedweek. This event is hosted by Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC which isn't but a 3 hour ride from the teams shop.
Beckham had to make his first few laps on track count in hotlap/qualifying and was able to do so by timing in seventh fastest out of the 25 cars on the property. In the heat race he would start 2nd and finish second following local standout Dean Bowen and edging out Kaden Honeycutt. In his first feature at Fayetteville, Beckham was able to keep his nose clean and bring the car home in a respectable 7th. The team will make some changes in hopes of being even stronger in tomorrow night's 25 lapper.
11-26-23 : KEEPING THE MOMENTIUM ALIVE IN TURKEY 100
This past weekend the team traveled to Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia for their annual Turkey 100. This is another popular race here in the southeast due to the unique trophy and $5,000 payday to the winner.
In Friday's prelim, Beckham was able to qualify 5th and maintain his position for a solid top 5 finish. On Saturday, the team made some changes to hopefully improve their position and give them a chance to bring home another massive win to closeout the season. Beckham would qualify fifth again on Saturday and ultimately bring the car home in one piece in sixth. This was again a very solid weekend and gave the team tons of confidence heading into next season.
11-19-23 : SOLID BLUE/GRAY 100 DEBUT
Coming off the career high moment in Charlotte only weeks before, Beckham set his sights on another high caliper race for 602 late models in the southeast, the Blue/Gray 100. This race pays $4,000 to the winner and brings out some big names of the higher divisions.
Beckham was able to start the day by timing in 6th quick out of the stacked 26 car field. Beckham was able to keep his nose clean and bring the car home in a very respectable 6th place finish. The team was very happy with this performance and will now prepare for next weekend's Turkey 100 in Swainsboro, Georgia.
10-29-23 : HE DID WHAT?!?!?!?!
Over the past few weeks, Beckham and his team have been doing some testing in their new Longhorn by Wesley Page getting his feet wet in preparation for his upcoming debut. From the first night out, Beckham felt surprisingly comfortable in the car, which is a testament to just how good Wesley and his team are at building fast race cars.
As the team finished up one of their test sessions, feeling pretty comfortable and ready to schedule Beckham's Dirt Late Model debut, the comment was made (almost jokingly) that Beckham should make his first start at the upcoming World Short Track Championship at the Dirt Track at Charlotte.
08-17-23 : MALONE BREAKS THROUGH FOR FIRST OPEN MICRO WIN
After taking a week off of racing and spending some time with family and friends at the beach, Beckham and the team set their sights on Salisbury, North Carolina's Millbridge Speedway.
The team provided Beckham with a winning piece and boy did he show up in a big way. Beckham would time in 4th in qualifying, which was good enough to start him on the outside pole of heat 2. After getting a good launch on the orginal start, Malone would take the early lead and cruise to the heat race win.
08-05-23 : ANOTHER SOLID RUN WITH CAROLINA PRO LATE MODEL TOUR
We had a pretty uneventful quiet weekend in Hickory. Beckham was able to qualify second and bring it home in fifth. Can't thank the McKee family and crew enough for all they do. We are bringing fast cars to the track and that is something to be proud of. We will keep digging and start preparing for Anderson next weekend!

06-13-23 : ACCOMPLISHED OUR GOAL FOR ROUND 1 OF SHOOTOUT
After several weeks off from running the Legend Car, the team jumped back in with both feet by entering the premier Legend Car mini-series, the Cook Out Summer Shootout. It is a challenge in itself to just make these races due to the competition level and large car counts.
Entering Round 1, the team set a goal of making the race and then just logging all of the laps. Beckham was able to accomplish this goal by qualifying 22nd (which was good enough to lock himself into the feature) and then keeping his nose clean the entire race. Unfortunately, a big pile up on lap 16 pushed the race past the time limit and the race was over.
Beckham feels like he had a good enough car to continue moving forward but he had to settle for an 18th place finish.
We will get things cleaned up and turned around for Round 2 of the Cook Out Summer Shootout Series this evening and hopefully be able to have another clean race and improve on Round 1's results.
06-05-23 : JUST GOTTA TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD!
Coming off a great run in the micro, Beckham and the team were excited to switch gears and get back in the Late Model. Beckham would continue the momentum by logging his best Late Model finish of 2nd in only his fourth start. As you can imagine, the team was riding a high like no other.
Carteret County Speedway was up next on Saturday and the team was optimistic about their chances to come home with another solid finish to keep the moment going. Unfortunately, a first lap crash was unavoidable and Beckham would end the night on the hook.
The team plans to get the car torn apart and evaluate the damage and begin repairs to have it ready for the July 1st race at Franklin County Speedway!
05-25-23 : BECKHAM MAKES FIRST DOUBLE DOWN SHOWDOWN COUNT!
Beckham and the team would struggle on night one of the Diaedge Double Down Showdown. The car was off and Beckham made some mistakes early in the night which put them behind from the start. Unfortunately, with this caliper of drivers, it is very hard to bounce back from a slow start to the night. An early ran wreck would sideline Beckham for the rest of the night.
On night two, the team fired off with speed qualifying 10th in an extremely stacked 25 car field. A slight mistake in the heat race cost Beckham a few positions and he would finish 5th, which meant he would roll off 13th in the main. In the main, Beckham put together the best race of his short micro career and was running door to door with the best in the nation and climbed his way as high as sixth before fading two position in the closing laps. Still, an eighth place run with this caliper of drivers was far from anything to hang his head about.
05-13-23 : ALL SMILES AFTER ROCKFISH!
As of recently, Beckham has been making a fair amount of starts in the micro and the results are starting to show his improvements. We are watching what started off as a shy/timid racer in the micro, grow into a more and more aggressive racer proving he belongs among the best of the best.
This past weekend the team traveled to Raeford, North Carolina's Rockfish Speedway for their Winged 600 Micro event. Beckham unloaded with more confidence than ever after having a couple strong runs at Millbridge. The youngster out of Rock Hill, South Carolina was able to qualify second, win his heat, battle hard all night long and come home with a career best finish of second against a strong field of micros!
04-03-23 : WHAT AN UP AND DOWN WEEK!?!
The week started off at Millbridge Speedway on Wednesday night for one of their weekly 600 micro shows. The Carber Racing prepared Hyper Chassis unloaded with speed but a mistake in qualifying would bury the team towards the back in the main. Beckham would charge his way into the top 10 before getting collected in a wreck causing damage that would end his chances of a good finish.
On Saturday, the team traveled to Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, South Carolina for the second round of the Carolina Pro Late Model Series. Crew Chief, Ethan Hutchens, helped make Beckham's first trip to Dillon an easy adjustment. With this being only Beckham's second start in the late model, the team's main goal was to complete all 100 laps, and the youngster did just that! Beckham was able to bring the car home in one piece in the 8th position which is a very solid outing for the team.
On Sunday, Beckham climbed back into his micro, but this time at Rockfish Speedway in Raeford, North Carolina. Unfortunately, this trip would end with a tore up race car but the only thing that matters is that Beckham climbed out without injury.
03-17-23 : BECKHAM TAKES ON CAREER DAY
On Friday, Beckham was in attendance at Cherry Park Elementary School for Career Day. Beckham had a ball showing the students around the car and explaining to them some of the things he goes through as a racecar driver.
Beckham Malone Racing would like to thank Cherry Park Elementary School for not only the invitation, but also for the overwhelming hospitality.
03-15-23 : JUST SHY OF TOP 10 IN SEASON OPENER
This past Wednesday Beckham and the crew headed to Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina for their season opener. Being the season opener, this week's race pulled in some the heavyweights in micro/midget racing like Cannon McIntosh, Ethan Mitchell, and Sam Johnson.
Beckham would time in P14 in qualifying against a stout field of cars. In the feature, he would advance a few positions, get shuffled back, and work his way back up for a 11th place finish. Not the finish the team was looking for, but the car came home in one piece and Beckham learned alot, so all in all a good night.
03-04-23 : LATE MODEL DEBUT = HUGE SUCCESS!
What a weekend for Beckham and his team!?! Beckham was able to check all the prerace goal check boxes. The youngster was able to bring the car home in one piece, make all 100 laps on the lead lap, and even came home with a very respectable top 10 finish in ninth. For his Late Model debut, he had to go up against a stout field of 19 cars around a very technical Hickory Motor Speedway.
Up next for the Late Model team is the Carolina Pro Late Model Series race at Dillon Motor Speedway on April 1st, but first we play in the mud at Millbridge on March 15th in the 600 micro!
02-04-23 : LOGGING LAPS & GETTING MORE COMFORTABLE
This past weekend Beckham and the crew made the trip to Atlanta Motor Speedway for his second race in the Legend Car. Beckham was able to complete all the laps in both features and turned some strong laps towards the end of the day. Beckham logged two 8th place finishes against a strong field of competitors and is starting to get more and more comfortable in the Legend Car.
Turning the page to this week, Beckham and the team make the trip to sunny Florida to compete 2023 Micro Speedweek at Marion County Speedway. The team will unload tonight and race the next three nights before moving over to Citrus County Speedway for the Legend Car Winter Nationals February 13th-17th.
01-21-23 : SOLID PERFORMANCE IN LEGEND CAR DEBUT
Had a good first showing in the Legend Car this past weekend. We timed in 4th quick in practice, but missed it a little bit in qualifying. Had to work our way up from the back and got tangled up with another car battling in the top 5. Started in the back again and were charging to the front but accidentally spun another competitor in the process and had to go back to the rear. After that we just settled in and made the last few laps to continue to gain experience. All in all, a great first weekend in the Legend and looking forward to the next one!
01-08-23 : FIRST OPEN 600 MILLBRIDGE RACE
Very solid first start in the open 600 division at Millbridge yesterday. Beckham unloaded fairly comfortable qualifying 12th out of the 25 entries. When the race rolled around, Beckham would pick off cars methodically and bring the car home in one piece with a very respectful 7th place finish against a very strong field of micros.
01-01-23 : RUNNING ON TULSA TIME
Beckham's first Tulsa Shootout appearance was one of ups and downs, but all in all a great learning experience. Beckham would enter three classes, two open 600 classes and one restricted class. The team knew they were up against literally the very best in the country but to be the best, you have to race the best. Expectations were to make laps and learn as much as possible as this would only be Beckham's second weekend in the open 600 class. Beckham would race hard all week and make some great gains each time he hit the track. Unfortunately, he would come a few spots shy of racing his way into the A-Main in the Restricted Winged Micro division, but the experience gained throughout the week will be carried over throughout the year making this a positive trip.
11-20-22 : FIRST TIME OUT WAS A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Friday night Beckham ran wingless and qualified 15th out of the 35 cars on the property. He would fire off fourth in his heat race, but would get hung out on the outside and slide back a few spots. He raced really well in the B-Main, but came up just a little short of moving on to the A-Main.
Saturday, the team bolted the wing on and qualified 12th out of 37 cars. Beckham would slip back a couple spots in the heat, but felt good about his chances of transferring after starting on the front row. Unfortunately, he would go on to tangle with the outside pole setter and would fail to transfer.
With all this being said, it was a great learning experience for this young team. A big thank you goes out to Mike Carber w/ Carber Racing for all his help this weekend. He was a great mentor for Beckham and really helped get the car and driver pointed in the right direction on this big weekend.
10-19-22 : BACK TO WHERE WE LIKE TO BE
This past Wednesday night was a good one for our team. We were able to find our way back to Victory Lane at Millbridge after a string of solid runs. The race was rather uneventful, but as far as we are concerned, that is perfectly fine. Plans for the next race are up in the air as we look over what is still out there for 2022. As always, thank you to all of our great partners and we are looking forward to wherever the next race may be!
09-24-22 : RACING WITH THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS IN TOW
This past Saturday Beckham and his team headed back to Salisbury, North Carolina's Millbridge Speedway. The night was filled with excitement but at the same time, the team was keeping the VanderLey family in their thoughts and prayers. Beckham was in contention all night long but lacked the speed at the end of the race needed to capitalize and would have to settle for a third place finish. This would make the fifth straight top three finish for Beckham and crew in the Restricted Micro division at Millbridge.
09-14-22 : NO WING? NO PROBLEM!
Last night was yet another first for Beckham this season. The Restricted Micro class unbolted their wings for the first time this year and like time and time before, Beckham stood up to the challenge. Beckham would start on the outside pole and go on to finish second. "The car definitely acted different than it did with the wing on it, but man that was fun!" said Malone. The team looks to be back at Millbridge Speedway in the Restricted Micro on September 24th. Hope to see everyone there!
09-10-22 : PODIUM IN BANDO NATIONALS
This past weekend Beckham and team made the trip to one of their favorite tracks, Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Bandolero East Championship. The team would unload with speed all weekend long and log an impressive third place finish in the biggest Bando race of the season. Special thanks to Mike Gordon and Team Gordon Racing for an incredible car all season long! Quick turn around this week, as we will be back at Millbridge Speedway this Wednesday in the Restricted Micro.
08-24-22 : LEARNING EXPERIENCE
This week was the first Wednesday night race for Restricted Micros since Beckham's win back in June. According to track rules, the best Beckham could start this week was fourth, so the team opted to use this race as a test session to try some adjustments on the car. Throughout the night, they found some adjustments that worked, and some that did not. When the checkered flag flew, Beckham was scored with a third place finish. Beckham's next race will be on September 10th at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Bandolero East Championship!
08-20-22 : BACK TO THE DIRT
After a couple months away from the dirt, Beckham was itching to get back in the seat of his Restricted Micro at Millbridge Speedway. After a fourth-place qualifying effort, Beckham would have some work to do if he wanted to defend his win from his last dirt outing. In the feature, Beckham would keep his nose clean and come home with a very respectful second place run. The team will regroup and be back at Millbridge this Wednesday (August 24th).
08-02-22 : MR. CONSISTENCY
This week marked the end of the 2022 Cookout Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Beckham did a great job of being consistent week in and week out and it resulted in a third place points run. This year the youngster was able to put up some impressive numbers where he finished in the top five in all 10 races, collected a win, and finished with an average finish of third. The team will be taking two weeks off before returning back to Millbridge Speedway on the 20th of August in the Hyper Racing Restricted Micro.
07-09-22 : MALONE REMAINS RED HOT IN ATLANTA
Fresh off his first career Restricted Micro win, Beckham Malone continued his winning ways in the state of Georgia. Wasting no time, Malone would start from the pole and go on to lead all 20 laps on his way to his eighth win of 2022 while holding off Nicholas Denton, and Austin Bloodworth (2nd & 3rd respectfully). Next race for Beckham is scheduled to take place July 12th at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Summer Shootout Series.
06-29-22 : BREAK THROUGH RESTRICTED MICRO WIN
The young Rock Hill, South Carolina native has been nothing short of impressive this season on the pavement side of things in his bandolero car. 2022 marked a year of change for Beckham on the dirt. Moving to a bigger car obviously brings its own challenges and takes a driver some time to get used to. The youngster was able to stun those around him by picking up his first career Restricted Micro win in only his sixth start in the car. Next up, Beckham will be back in his Team Gordon Racing prepared Bandolero at Atlanta Motor Speedway on August 9th.
